The ShawU District Master Plan Workshop will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, in Yancy Hall Auditorium, room 126, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Overflow seating will be located in room 234.
This is a community engagement opportunity for students, faculty, alumni, the surrounding community, and supporters of Shaw University’s mission. Your input plays a crucial role in contributing to the design of The ShawU District.
Participants will engage in a series of activities and discussions to share their perspectives on Shaw University’s campus and share ideas on potential amenities, infrastructure, and design improvements that support the University’s mission.
We will explore innovative concepts and collaborate to define what success looks like for the university and its stakeholders.
The thoughts and ideas shared in this workshop are integral to the success of The ShawU District and will be foundational to the content included in The ShawU District Master Plan report.
The University welcomes input from all stakeholders as it envisions drafting a master plan that seamlessly integrates academic, residential, commercial, and recreational components to fortify its ability to invest in cutting-edge research, enhance educational opportunities, and enrich the experience of its students, faculty, staff, and surrounding community.
